GoToNewAdAgency ~ GoToMyPC

I ran across some ads for GoToMyPC that are a little boring and almost give
the company the feel of a cheap mortgage web advertiser:

It’s a shame they chose not to stand out. I use one of GoTo’s other products: GoToMeeting. I just became an official customer yesterday when I forgot to cancel my trial. The situation isn’t the end of the world because the service is pretty good, even though the software’s a little clunky.

GoToMeeting isn’t quite as easy to setup as Adobe’s Acrobat Connect, but it was more responsive in actual use in a live meeting than Adobe during my trial period there. GoTo seems better at balancing function with the transmission capabilities of your Internet connection (and that of your guests).

I will soon try it to connect with a real tropical island thousands of miles from here and will post if it works well. The problem with many of these Internet services is that the monopolies on the remote islands don’t want you using the Internet when you could be paying several dollars a minute to make a real phone call.
