Friggin’ art ~ flamingoes aren’t always pink!

“Self Portrait”? This flamingo painted itself?

This poster is pretty dumb. So, you have a pretty pink paint. Why can’t you paint something other than a flamingo? They don’t always eat sea monkeys, and they’re not always pink.

Artists and art supply stores have no excuse for this cliche nonsense.

The only way out of this one is if you were trying to be cute like a pink yard flamingo because the Massachusetts company that produced the plastic ornaments announced recently that it was shutting down.

What’s interesting about flamingoes though is that in some parts of the world, they’re part of a very short food chain. They will eat algae en masse, and than an occasional eagle will swoop down and eat one of the many flamingoes. Disney is probably already composing the “Triangle of Life” song. Of course, flies are probably a part too.
