The markets are not a stormy sea ~ well, now with Rupert Murdoch they might become one

Now that Rupert Murdoch has taken over Dow Jones, I hope that maybe he’ll do something about this sailboat-on-stormy-market-sea ad.  I have been seeing this one for many months now.

Every once in a while you come across ads that make you think that some executive refused to let go of his desire to have a sailboat and maybe even a stormy sea in their ad.  At least he had them lower the mast.  These people keep good designers and creative folk from doing great things.

Let loose a bit, you big bad execs you. Creative types still know you’re in power.  Well, until you finally realize what they’re worth to your business.  Then you’re going to have to pay them fair rates.  Apple’s competitors already know this.
