Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips from Washington state ~ The best BBQ potato chips ever

20071017HawaiianKettleStylePotatoChips

As a guinea pig to paradise, I went into this bag of chips thinking that it was a huge joke of a marketing scheme.  Even the back of the bag said that they were made by a company in Washington state, so how could they really be Hawaiian?  In fact, how could a potato chip be considered traditionally Hawaiian at all?  Well, trust me.  It doesn’t.  These are worth buying in spite of the overdone name and packaging.

They say "Sweet & Spicy!" and they are just that.  They’re also crisp and delicious.  Beware, though, that most of the calories are from fat.  That extended kettle fry method is gonna get ya.  It’ll go straight to your heart in more ways than one if you like BBQ potato chips.  They also have Maui Sweet Onion or just regular if they’re more your bag.

I bought them at a local deli, but here’s the official site where you can get them too if you’re into mail order.
