Modern Cabana ~ great product, terrible name
A company called Modern Cabana, based in San Francisco, manufacturers little detached outdoor rooms for whatever purpose you can think up. The concept is great, but their image and materials could probably be upgraded just a bit. This is how they describe themselves on their website:
"Modern Cabana … provides its clients with designer, pre-fabricated accessory structures of the highest quality and design integrity. Its flagship solution, The Cabana, is a testament to the fact that modern, green design is compatible with affordability, ease of installation and, of course, timeless beauty."
It’s unfortunate that they have chosen a product name and several non-product photos for their homepage that don’t allow the product to shine. A cabana has a dressing-room or beverage-attendant aura about it. And aren’t these little rooms more contemporary than modern?
If they’re going to use "place" as a way to sell their product, why not go beyond showing either the box in a landscape or just a landscape to actually showing the landscape from within the box. That would also allow them to give us a few close ups of the materials and craftsmanship. I’m not saying that that’s the best way to portray themselves, but a better way.
Then again, who cares? If they are high enough in quality, I want a little office version. Doesn’t your lawnmower deserve a habitat upgrade too? Check them out here to see if you agree.
