Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Day Sale November 15
Sotheby’s is having a Contemporary Art Day Sale N08364 on November 15, 2007, in New York. There are some really amazing works up for sale, including a Bedouin painting in one of my favorite series by Jean Dubuffet. Here’s a small section of the piece (Lot 103):
If I had $150,000 to spare, I would buy it. I do not. His work is a little wild, but the desert and oases in the Bedouin works along with some of his cows made me a fan. This one here is not the best in the series, but it’s great all the same.
