Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie buy Ethiopia

Brad and Angelina have apparently purchased the Dubai World island of Ethiopia, which they plan on using "to showcase environmental issues and encourage people to live a greener life" according to an AFP/Breitbart article.  If you pay at least six million dollars for this island that is already environmentally unsound, thus contributing to the profits of a business who is producing the destruction posthaste, how could you really expect anyone to buy that you are worried about the environment?  Beyond that, I’m not even ready to explore the symbolism behind buying "Ethiopia."
