Vintage Mahogany Speedboats ~ USPS 41-cent stamps
After veering off through a series of stamp posts here and here, this final set of "Vintage Mahogany Speedboats" surely couldn’t be left out. Of the three posts, this set is by far the coolest. Who would ever expect this theme? See:
I don’t know why, but I’m feeling very James Bond all of the sudden. Maybe they’ll equip these boats with the latest in bikini life jackets.
The boats shown here are the 1915 Hutchinson, the 1954 Chris-Craft, the 1939 Hacker-Craft, and the 1931 Gar Wood. You can see the full sheet here.
