Cookies for Santa

This ad is from 2oo6, and it’s one of the best print ads related to the Rapidsea cause.  It’s an Oreo cookie wearing a snorkel:

Some readers might be surprised at the statement that it’s great.  After all, what does a cookie have to do with snorkeling?  You might even picture a nice beach.

But there is no direct link between the snorkel and a palm-tree-lined beach.  This image is entirely about that cookie getting in some milk and having fun.  It’s exactly the spirit that Oreo hopes to portray.

Now, whether you decide to leave cookies for Santa is up to you.  You could choose Chips Ahoy for their catchy tune mentioned in this post, or maybe you’d like some Newman-O’s, just because they are like Oreos, only better tasting.
