How not to package toys ~ Dora the Explorer Piñata
Go, Dora, the young explorer girl who teaches kids about travel, adventure, and problem solving. Stop Wal-Mart and other retailers from displaying her in a prominent location in a plastic bag like a restrained and suffocating child:

Whether this toy was made in a humane environment or not, nothing says sweatshop like the image of a little girl trapped in a plastic bag. In this respect, please kids, do not try to be like Dora.
Umm, maybe stores should instruct their staff to remove the pull-string piñatas from their packaging before placing them on the shelves. Do you think?
At the same time, don’t you wish that every popular toy came in piñata form for post-holiday-shopping stress relief? They do have SpongeBob SquarePants, Spider-Man, Elmo, Bratz, Blues Clues, and others. There’s even a Cody Surf’s Up penguin version that I would really like to take to a party:

If you see a Barbie as the Island Princess piñata, please let me know.
The Dora version is by Nickelodeon and Unique Industries.
