My neighbor just threw her washing machine into her pool from the diving platform ~ in her heels

I was sitting outside on the balcony yesterday overlooking our pool, when suddenly my incredibly strong and bronze neighbor appeared in my peripheral vision. It was hard to miss her because she was wearing a striking yellow dress, heels, and those freaking blindingly reflective super hero bracelets.

Imagine my surprise when I also just happened to notice that she was carrying a huge washing machine up the ladder of her diving platform. Before the synaptic transfer of the moment was even complete, she suddenly just threw the washing machine into the pool.

All I could think was, there goes the neighborhood. Who knew her husband made her buy the cheap brand. You go, girl. Take his credit card and get yourself that LG steam washer and dryer combo that you’ve been coveting. It’s not, “Are they worth it?” It’s, “Are you worth it?” Yes. Yes, you are.

What is this ad? I love when you have the text that reads over to the next page, but you miss that fact and read: “How do you know when it’s time to replace your washer and dryer? When your clean clothes don’t feel indifference?”  I don’t feel indifference about this ad.  It messed with my head.

This one comes to you from Metropolitan Home December 2007 pages 18-19.
