Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Guides ~ choosing an environmentally sound catch

If you’re conscious of what you eat and worry about over-fishing and other questionable environmental practices in parts of the fishing industry, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has Seafood Watch Guides that can help you choose.
I found one in a display next to the door of a locally owned shop. If you don’t happen upon one there, you can also download them from the Aquarium’s website.
The guides are shown on a map here and are available for the whole country or for the following six regions: West Coast, Hawaii, Central US, Southwest, Southeast, and Northeast.
You can help their cause by donating here.
